Customer Policies

From There to Here, With Care.

Please review these policies before shipping with Valor Shipping.

1. Shipping Terms

Valor Shipping currently provides air-shipping services from our Florida warehouse to Jamaica.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate account, shipping and package information. Your unique customer identification information should be entered correctly when using your Valor Shipping U.S. shipping address.

Air freight typically takes approximately 2–3 business days from the USA to Jamaica. Transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Flight schedules, customs processing, weather, holidays and other circumstances outside our control may cause delays.

2. Pre-Alerts & Invoices

Customers should pre-alert incoming packages through their Valor Shipping account and upload the applicable purchase invoice before shipment.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that invoices and declared package information are accurate.

3. Shipping Charges & Customs

Shipping charges are calculated according to Valor Shipping's applicable shipping rates and package weight.

Customs duties, taxes and other government charges, where applicable, are separate from Valor Shipping's shipping charge and may be added to the customer's total.

Customs assessments are determined by the relevant Jamaican authorities and may vary depending on the type and value of the goods.

4. Package Pickup

Customers will be notified when their packages are ready for collection.

Packages may be collected at:

Valor Shipping Pickup Location
Inside Valor Nail Lounge
1203 Providence Drive
Montego Bay, Jamaica

A valid government-issued identification document may be required when collecting a package.

If another person will collect a package on behalf of the account holder, that person must be properly authorized through the customer's account or according to Valor Shipping's authorized-pickup procedure.

5. Islandwide Delivery

Eligible packages may be sent to selected Knutsford Express locations across Jamaica at the customer's request.

Additional delivery charges apply. Availability may depend on the package size, contents, destination and applicable carrier requirements.

6. Package Storage & Unclaimed Packages

Regular Customers

Regular customers receive five (5) business days of free storage beginning from the original ready-for-pickup notification.

After the free-storage period, a storage charge of J$500 per package per day applies until the package is collected.

VIP Customers

Active VIP customers receive ten (10) business days of free storage beginning from the original ready-for-pickup notification.

After the free-storage period, a storage charge of J$500 per package per day applies until the package is collected.

Unclaimed Packages

Customers are responsible for collecting their packages promptly after receiving notification that the package is ready for pickup.

If a package remains uncollected after the applicable free-storage period, storage charges will continue to accumulate. Valor Shipping may make reasonable attempts to contact the customer using the contact information associated with the customer's account.

Packages that remain unclaimed for an extended period will be handled in accordance with applicable Jamaican law and Valor Shipping's applicable unclaimed-package procedures.

Customers are encouraged to keep their contact information current and collect packages promptly to avoid storage charges.

7. Restricted & Prohibited Items

Customers must comply with Jamaican customs requirements, aviation safety rules and all other applicable laws and carrier restrictions.

Certain goods may be prohibited, restricted, require permits, or be subject to special handling requirements. Examples may include firearms and ammunition, explosives and fireworks, certain hazardous or flammable materials, some pharmaceuticals, meats, plants and plant products, pesticides, camouflage clothing and other regulated goods.

Lithium batteries and other dangerous goods may also be subject to special air-transport requirements.

Customers should contact Valor Shipping before purchasing or shipping an item if they are uncertain whether it can legally and safely be transported.

8. Damaged, Missing or Lost Packages & Claims

Valor Shipping takes reasonable care when receiving, handling and storing customers' packages.

Damage While in Valor Shipping's Custody

If a package or item is proven to have been damaged as a direct result of Valor Shipping's handling while in our custody, the customer may submit a claim for review.

Customers should report suspected damage promptly and provide supporting information, which may include the package tracking information, purchase invoice or proof of value, photographs of the package and affected item, and any other information reasonably required to investigate the claim.

Where Valor Shipping determines that it is responsible for the loss or damage, an approved claim will be resolved based on the documented circumstances, supporting evidence, applicable carrier terms and applicable Jamaican law.

Damage Outside Valor Shipping's Control

Valor Shipping will not assume responsibility for damage that existed before the package entered our custody, inadequate packaging by a merchant or sender, prohibited or improperly declared contents, inherent defects in an item, or loss or damage attributable to another carrier or circumstances outside Valor Shipping's reasonable control, except where responsibility is otherwise required by applicable law.

Missing or Lost Packages

If a package cannot be located, the customer should contact Valor Shipping promptly so that the shipment can be investigated. The customer may be required to provide tracking information, proof of purchase and other supporting documentation.

This policy does not represent that every shipment is automatically insured. Any applicable insurance or carrier protection is subject to the specific terms and limits of that coverage.

9. VIP Membership

Valor Shipping may offer an optional VIP membership program. VIP benefits, pricing, promotions and eligibility may be updated from time to time.

Any current VIP benefits and applicable charges will be communicated to customers before enrollment or renewal.

10. Privacy

Valor Shipping may collect information necessary to create and manage customer accounts, process packages, communicate shipment updates, provide customer support, process applicable payments and comply with legal or customs requirements.

This information may include customer contact information, shipping information, identification details where required, package information, invoices and transaction records.

Information may be shared with service providers, customs authorities, carriers or other parties where reasonably necessary to provide the requested shipping service or comply with applicable law.

Valor Shipping does not intend to sell customers' personal information for advertising purposes.

11. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that information supplied to Valor Shipping is accurate and that items submitted for shipment comply with applicable laws, customs requirements and transportation restrictions.

Customers should keep their account credentials secure and promptly report suspected unauthorized account activity.

12. Policy Updates

Valor Shipping may update these policies as its services, legal requirements or operational procedures change.

Material changes may be published on this page. Customers should review the current policies when using Valor Shipping services.
